Goodbye, Google Notebook: Lessons Learned

This month I lost a companion — not a living being, but a companion nonetheless. On January 14, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) announced that they “plan to stop active development on Google Notebook.”

Over the last two years I became a Google Notebook addict, and that simple announcement has put many aspects of Web 2.0 into context for me.
